• Welcome to all clients or prospective clients looking for information on Medicare 2027 Plans.

If your Medicare plan is NON-RENEWING for 2027, this information may assist you. Unfortunately, due to high service demand, we will not be doing in-person meetings. We are simply offering LINKS and basic information on our website. If you would like more personal service, feel free to contact another agency or go direct to Medicare (1-800-MEDICARE or www.medicare.gov) to get a full needs analysis with an individual recommendation.

For non-renewal Medicare recipients, you should sign up for a new plan by 12/31 to ensure you have coverage for 01/01. You do have until 2/28 to make a decision. But if you miss the 12/31 sign-up date, you will only have Medicare Part A & B coverage with no Rx coverage. We recommend that you enroll in a new plan by 12/31.
Because your plan is non-renewing, you can purchase another Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare Supplement plan (Basic with Riders). Supplements are not always available to clients so if you have wanted a Supplement in the past, this may be your chance. Alternatively, you can consider another Advantage plan in your county. Note some rural counties may only have Supplements available for 2027.
You can view all plans in your county using the links below or by visiting www.medicare.gov. And, below the LINKS, you will find key items to check before enrolling in a plan. Note that each client is different so you should review any additional items important to you or contact Medicare for all your options.
LINKS to help you research and enroll in a new Medicare Plan for 2027. Enrollment is available starting 10/15. Do not attempt to apply earlier.

IMPORTANT ELEMENTS TO CONSIDER BEFORE ENROLLING IN A PLAN
Below are some important insurance elements to check before purchasing a plan. Note that this is not a complete list as everyone's situation is different. This list is simply to help you get started in your review.
Premium – Be sure to locate the premium to ensure it works for you.
Deductible – Check any medical and drug deductibles. The Medicare drug deductible can be up to $700 in 2027, or it may be lower particularly on low-cost drugs.
Out-of-Pocket Medical Maximum – This amount is important because it tells you the MOST you will have to pay out in a calendar year for medical services. Check the separate drug maximum as well ($2400 in 2027).
Network, Drugs & Pharmacy – All insurers have online tools to check your network, pharmacy and drugs. It is very important to confirm that your clinics/hospitals, drugs and pharmacy are covered.
Co-Pays/Co-Insurance Amounts – Check all amounts, particularly those you use. Be sure to look at the inpatient hospitalization benefit as well.
Extras - Check any dental, vision, OTC, fitness benefits, etc., that may be important to you.

If the above items (and any other important items to you) are to your satisfaction, feel free to enroll in the plan after 10/15. You can use the LINKS to enroll from the comfort of your home.

I hope that this information is helpful.
